Leadova is a consent-first platform. That phrase isn't just marketing — it's the foundation of how we operate. If you've filled out a form on one of our vertical pages, this article explains exactly what happens to your information, what rights you have, and how to exercise them.
Short version: We collect only what's needed to match you with relevant businesses in your area. We never sell your data to third parties. You can withdraw consent at any time, and we'll stop sharing your information within 48 hours.
What We Collect
When you fill out a Leadova form — whether it's for roofing, insurance, real estate, or another vertical — we collect:
- Contact information: Your name, email address, and phone number.
- Location data: Your city, state, or ZIP code, depending on the vertical.
- Service interest: What you're looking for — for example, "new roof installation" or "life insurance quote."
- Consent timestamp: The exact date and time you submitted the form, along with what you consented to.
We do not collect payment information, government ID numbers, sensitive health data, or any information that isn't directly relevant to matching you with a service provider.
Why We Collect It
The purpose is straightforward: to connect you with businesses in your area that provide the service you're looking for. Nothing else.
Your information is shared only with businesses who have subscribed to the specific vertical you opted into. A roofing lead is shared only with roofing businesses. An insurance lead only with licensed insurance providers. There's no cross-vertical sharing, no broad distribution to anyone who pays.
Who Sees Your Information
The businesses who receive your information are vetted Leadova subscribers in your vertical. They receive:
- Your name and contact details
- Your location (city/region)
- What service you're interested in
- When you expressed interest
Businesses are contractually required to use your information only to contact you about the service you requested. They cannot resell your data, add you to unrelated mailing lists, or share your information with third parties outside the context of your original request.
Your Rights
You have the following rights with respect to your personal information:
Right to Withdraw Consent
You can stop the sharing of your information at any time. Withdrawal takes effect within 48 hours.
Right to Access
You can request a copy of all data we hold about you, including what information has been shared and with whom.
Right to Deletion
You can request complete deletion of your data from our systems. We'll confirm deletion within 30 days.
Right to Correction
If your contact details change or are incorrect, you can request an update to your record at any time.
How to Withdraw Consent
Withdrawing consent is simple. You have three options:
- Email us directly: Send a message to hello@leadova.com with "Withdraw Consent" in the subject line and your email address or phone number. We'll confirm and stop sharing your data within 48 hours.
- Use our consent portal: Visit our Consent Policy page to understand what you consented to and initiate a withdrawal request.
- Unsubscribe link: Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link that immediately removes you from further contact.
Note: Withdrawing consent stops future sharing. It doesn't undo contact that has already occurred from businesses who received your lead. If you've already been contacted, you can ask those businesses to remove you from their records directly.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your consent is active, plus up to 12 months for compliance and audit purposes. After a deletion request, all personal data is removed from active systems within 30 days. Anonymized aggregate data (e.g., "X leads expressed interest in roofing in Q1 2026") may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes — this data cannot be traced back to you.
Security
Your data is stored on encrypted, access-controlled infrastructure. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel and systems with a specific business need.
We do not store payment information — that is handled by our payment processor (Stripe) under their own PCI-DSS compliance framework.
